The Gaudí & Barcelona
Club has been organizing tours through a local travel agency since
1999. The tours are specifically focused on the works of Antonio Gaudí
and the most famous architectural sights in the city of Barcelona.
Those specialized tours
are for people that are searching for personalized care and attention
and a deep knowledge of the culture through which they are, including
gastronomy, art, society, and local events.
Some examples of past tours:
|July 2001- Group of
15 journalists from the OTA/OTR financial newspaper in San Francisco. We
arranged the bus, the official guide - an expert in the architecture of
Gaudí, the entrances for the buildings, and free entrance to a very
fashionable night club here in Barcelona. Feel free to contact Hartmut Leuschner
firstname.lastname@example.org, the Senior Editor
in Europe for OTA/OTR, and the organizer of the 1999 international meeting
of the Company in Barcelona.
|August 2001- Personal
tour for Robina Mapstone "Bobbie", public relations and programs manager
of the Gamble House, University of Southern California, School of architecture
in Pasadena, and a friend, visiting "La Pedrera", "Finca Guell", "Cripta
Guell" and "Casa Vicens". email@example.com
|September 2001- 4-hour

buildings designed by Gaudi. Stephanie is an artist from Colorado (US) who
works with tiles, in the Gaudi style. We will publish pictures of her work
on our site. Her e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
2001- Full-day tour for 15 modern art docents from the US, visiting
Gaudi works and other modernist buildings. Lunch at a typical local tapas
bar. This group came through Request Adventures, a Travel Agency of San
Francisco specializing in art travel for carefree small groups. Jack and
Beth Hanson are the responsibles. email@example.com

antique London-style taxi cab which picked them up and drove them between
the various sights.
|February 2002- A 22-person
group from Ohio (USA) came to visit La Pedrera and other Gaudí buildings.
We organized a tour divided into two days. Claudia and Roger firstname.lastname@example.org,

to know this incredible group! We really enjoyed you guys!
September 2002- 30
Ladies from different parts of the world, came to Barcelona and while
their husbands were at the Gas Processors Association convention from
England, we organized for them a whole day tour visiting the most important
Gaudi works and after a typical catalan meal, they enjoyed a visit to
the Torres winery. The tour was really amazing and they had fun. The responsible

a nice guy from England. More details and funny pictures here.
