I was in Barcelona earlier this year and introduced my wife to Park Guell with its escalators and ceramics. It was my second visit and I believe that Gaudi is the only person from 1700 onwards who has successfully combined architecture and artistry.

I have attached thrre photographs, one reflecting the standard version of Gaudi, the second in remembrance of late night Sagrada Familla after emerging from the crypt and the third being a, possibly unnoticed effect, a Gaudiesque scene on your seafront.
