Biel Huguet, son of tiler craftsmen,
is the third generation being in the service of the present-day
architecture, artisanal products elaborated with noble materials
and with unlimited decorative and aesthetic possibilities. Because
of this reason Herzog & De Meuron, the winner of the Pritzker
Prize 2000 and charged of the design of the Edifici Fòrum
in Barcelona, has trusted in the Huguet Rajoles Hidràuliques
SL enterprise to produce the more than 1000 square metres of its
pavement.
This hexagonal mosaic tile is inspired by the one designed by
Gaudí for the Pedrera -the Casa Milà-, a version of
which can be seen in the Passeig de Gràcia.
