Elisabeth Figa was born in Barcelona in 1948. She studied Advertising at the Massana School of Art and later continued her studies, obtaining a Master’s in Graphic Arts from IDEP. In parallel fashion, she entered the world of self-taught photography, complementing the knowledge she acquired with specific professional courses. Among other distinctions, in 1984 she won Third Prize in Japan’s NIKON International Photography Competition.

Elisabeth Figa has taken part in different group photography exhibitions and has given solo shows at: Club de la Imatge (Barcelona), Agrupació Fotogràfica de Catalunya, Orfeó Gracienc, Joanot, Casal de Cultura del Prat de Llobregat i Casal de Sarrià.
